When you are dealing with the trauma's and headaches of trying to help a loved one quit an addiction it can become very trying. You must always keep in your mind that your loved one is not well, that he/she are under the control of a strong cycle of compulsion and often times withdrawal from a very powerful substance.An addiction deeply rooted in psychological and physiological factors beyond their control.They often times lie and cheat just to satisfy their urge to continue in their addiction. To get frustrated with them is understandable. But keep in mind that to lose patience with them will only defeat your purpose of helping them.
